A team of eight firefighters from Shropshire Fire & Rescue Service are taking part in the fire services 20th 3 peaks challenge on the 17th & 18th June. The challenge involves climbing the 3 highest peaks in England, Scotland & Wales in 24 hours which is a grand total of 11,173ft.
They are raising money for the National Fire Service Benevolent Fund and Cancer Reasearch.

Yeh I also took part in the 3 peak challenge for the firefighters charity in 2008 although for me it was only the 2 peaks as I was dropped in it last minute without training and couldnt face snowdon after ben nevis and scrafel pike great experience all the same. would recomend to all  _________________ Links are not permittedretainedfirefighter.com |
